Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine therapy on functional recovery of patients with stroke sequelae. Methods From February 2019 to February 2020, 80 patients with stroke sequelae treated in Liaoning Disabled Service Center were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the treatment group (40 cases) and the control group (40 cases) according to the random number table method. The control group was given conventional medical treatment and physical therapy, while the treatment group was given oral Chinese medicine, acupuncture, herbal fumigation and other treatment on the basis of the control group. After 3 months, the therapeutic effect was evaluated and the scores of Fugl-Meyer and function independent measure (FIM) before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the treatment in the treatment group was 95.0%, and that of the control group was 77.5%. The total effective rate of the treatment in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of Fugl-Meyer and FIM of the two groups after treatment were higher than those before treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of Fugl-Meyer and FIM in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine therapy on stroke sequelae is more accurate, which can promote the recovery of function and improve the ability of self-care.
