Abstract:Objective To explore the etiological characteristics and risk factors of puerperal infection in primipara, and to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods The clinical data of a total of 1123 primiparas who delivered in the Zhongyi Northeast International Hospital from July 1,2016 to December 31,2019 were collected.Among them,47 cases had puerperal infection, and the infection rate was 4.18%.The etiological characteristics were analyzed by clinical microbiology test, and the risk factors of puerperal infection were analyzed by univariate and multivariate Logistic analysis. Results A total of 51 strains were isolated from 47 puerperal women with puerperal infection,of which 54.90% were Gram-negative bacteria,27.45% were Escherichia coli, accounted for slightly higher proportion;45.10% of Gram-positive bacteria were mainly Staphylococcus aureus, accounted for 19.61%.The incidence of puerperal infection in primipara with premature rupture of membranes, postpartum hemorrhage, vaginitis and gestational diabetes/hypertension was significantly increased, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the infection rate of primipara with stage of labor, age, mode of production, anemia, and chronic diseases (P>0.05).Premature rupture of membranes, vaginitis, postpartum hemorrhage and gestational diabetes/hypertension were risk factors of puerperal infection in primipara (P<0.05).Conclusion The risk factors of puerperal infection in primipara can be summarized as premature rupture of membranes, vaginitis, postpartum hemorrhage and gestational diabetes/hypertension.Etiological analysis showed that Gram negative bacteria are the most common pathogens.
