Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of nursing intervention in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD).Methods A total of 62 AECOPD patients treated in our hospital from February 2016 to November 2017 were selected as the subjects, and divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 31 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were given usual care, while the observation group were given nursing intervention based on usual care. The anxiety scale (SAS), depression scale (SDS) scores, the lung function test, the total satisfaction rate of nursing and treatment compliance between the two groups before and after nursing were compared. Results After the nursing cares, the SDS and SAS scores in both groups decreased significantly, and those in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The forced vital capacity (FVC), 1 s forced expiratory volume (FEV1) and FEV1/FVC in both groups were significantly improved after the nursing cares, and those in observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).The total treatment compliance (93.55%) and total nursing satisfaction (96.77%) of the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(70.97%, 67.74%), and the differences were statistically significant. Conclusion Nursing intervention can effectively improve the negative emotion and lung function for patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and improve the patient′s treatment compliance and nursing satisfaction obviously.
