Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of epidural anesthesia in painless delivery. Methods Fifty primiparas from February 2018 to February 2019 in our hospital were selected as subjects.According to the method of computer random grouping, they were divided into control group (25 cases) and study group (25 cases). The control group underwent painless labor under intravenous anesthesia, and the study group underwent painless delivery under epidural anesthesia. The analgesic efficiency, natural delivery rate, uterine contraction interval, duration of contractions, neonatal asphyxia rate, and intrauterine distress rate were compared between the two groups. Results The analgesic efficiency and natural delivery rates of the study group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);there were no statistical differences in the interval between contractions, duration of contractions, neonatal asphyxia rate, intrauterine distress rate (P>0.05).Conclusion Epidural anesthesia for painless delivery can effectively increase the analgesic efficiency and natural delivery rate, and will not increase the neonatal asphyxia rate, fetal intrauterine distress rate, the application value is extremely positive.
