Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of personalized psychological nursing intervention on parental satisfaction and anxiety in children with cryptorchidism. Methods A total of 280 parents of children with cryptorchidism in our hospital from March 2016 to February 2018 were selected and randomly divided into the control group (n=140) and the experimental group (n=140) by draw lots. In the control group, routine nursing intervention was used, while the experimental group received personalized psychological nursing intervention (routine nursing+psychological nursing intervention). The self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) scores before and after intervention, and the nursing satisfaction after intervention were observed and analyzed. Results After the intervention, the total satisfaction of the experimental group was 96.43%, higher than that of the control group accounting for 85.71%, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in SAS score between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05). The SAS scores in the experimental group after intervention was lower than that in the control group with statistical difference(P<0.05). Conclusion Parents with cryptorchidism have different levels of anxiety. However, personalized psychological nursing intervention is targeted, and can greatly improve the parents′anxiety and hospitalization satisfaction, which is worth promoting.
