Abstract:Objective To study the effect of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation treating stroke (CAV) and its effect on national institutes of health stroke scale (NIHSS) score.Methods A total of 98 patients with CAV from March 2016 to April 2018 were selected and randomly divided into control group and study group,49 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine rehabilitation,and the study group was treated with routine rehabilitation combined with acupuncture.The total incidence of complications,NIHSS score and quality of life (QOL) score were compared between the two groups.Results The total incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05); the NIHSS score of the study group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05); the QOL score of the study group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture combined with rehabilitation can significantly improve the muscle tension of CAV patients,improve the limb ability of patients through rehabilitation,and reduce the risk of complications.It is beneficial to ensure the quality of life of patients and their families,and it is worthy of clinical promotion.
