Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of Metformin in the treatment of recurrent spontaneous abortion(RSA)combined with insulin resistance(IR).Methods A total of 100 IR patients with RSA in our hospital from January 2016 to January 2018 were selected.According to treatment options, they were divided into the control group(48 cases)and the observation group (52 cases). The control group received oral Metformin Tablets before pregnancy, stopping Metformin after pregnancy, and Progesterone was used for treatment. The observation group continued to take Metformin Tablets after pregnancy on the basis of the control group. The changes of homeostasis model of assessment for insulin resistence index (HOMA-IR)before and after treatment were observed between the two groups. The pregnancy outcomes and adverse reactions of the two groups were also recorded. Results After treatment, the HOMA-IR of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence rate of abortion and the total incidence rate of adverse reactions in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Metformin in the treatment of IR patients with RSA has good clinical effect and good safety, which can effectively improve the patients′IR and reduce the abortion rate.
