Abstract:Objective To analyze the application value of HCV-core antigen(HCV-cAg)and anti-HCV-immunoglobulin G (anti-HCV IgG)for joint detection in early diagnosis of hepatitis C infection. Methods All of 296 patients with high risks of HCV infection checked from February 2015 to May 2017 in each department were selected as observation objects. All the patients received the HCV-cAg,anti-HCV,alanine aminotransferase (ALT )and total bilirubin(TBil)examinations.HCV-RNA test results were used as the gold standard to observe the HCV infection of patients diagnosed by different methods, and to analyze the effectiveness of combined use of HCV-cAg and anti-HCV IgG in early diagnosis of diseases. Results HCV-RNA content was positively correlated with ALT level(r=0.978,P<0.05),while HCV-RNA content was not correlated with Tbil level(r=0.681,P>0.05).The detection rate of anti-HCV IgG,HCV-cAg and serum liver function was 69.1%,82.3%and 58.2%respectively,and the detection rates of HCV-cAg was higher than that of anti-HCV IgG and serum liver function (P<0.05).The joint detection rate of anti-HCV IgG and HCV-cAg was the highest(96.5%),which was significantly higher than that of combined monitoring of HCV-cAg and serum liver function(90.9%),the combined detection of anti-HCV IgG and serum liver function(74.5%)had statistical difference (P<0.05).The diagnostic value of combined detection of HCV-cAg and anti-HCV IgG was higher than that of single index examination. Conclusion Combination of anti-HCV IgG and HCV-cAg for early diagnosis of HCV infection has a high clinical detection rate.
