Abstract:Objective To investigate the association between TLR2 Arg753Gln and CD14-159C/T polymorphisms and Streptococcus pneumoniae disease.MethodsPubmed, embase,Cohrance,CNKI,VIP,Wanfang Data were searched to get related clinical controlled trials. The time limit for retrieving studies was until June 1,2017.Meta-analysis was conducted by Revman 5.3 software. Results Three TLR2 related papers were included, with a total sample size of 951 cases. Two CD14 related studies were included, with a total sample size of 674 cases.Meta-analysis showed no correlation between Arg753Gln polymorphism of TLR2 gene and CD14-159C/T polymorphism and susceptibility to Streptococcus pneumoniae disease(dominant allele vs.recessive alleles:OR=0.76,95%CI=0.40-1.46,P=0.41;dominant genotype vs.recessive genotype:OR=0.70,95%CI=0.34-1.44,P=0.33).Conclusion No significant differences between TLR2 Arg753Gln and CD14-159C/T polymorphisms and Streptococcus pneumoniae disease were found in the metaanalysis.
