Comparison of the prophylactic effect of silica gel decompression body pad and multi layer soft silica gel foam dressing with surgical pressure injury on long time pediatric neurosurgery
Abstract:Objective To study the effect of silica gel pad and multilayer decompression body soft silicone foam dressing on the effect of long time operation of pediatric neurosurgery.Methods A total of 112 patients undergoing neurosurgery from February 2015 to June 2017 in our hospital were selected as research subjects.The patients were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method,56 cases in each group.The control group was given routined nursing and silicone gel decompression position pad,the observation group was treated with conventional nursing and multi-layer soft silicone foam dressing and the occurrence of surgical pressure injury and the satisfaction of parents were compared between the two groups.Results The incidence of bedsore in the observation group was 1.79%,which was significantly lower than that in the control group 12.50%(P<0.05).The parents′satisfaction was 98.21%in the observation group,which was higher than that in the control group of 87.56%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of multi layer soft silica gel foam dressing in the long operation of children department of neurosurgery has a more obvious effect on preventing surgical pressure injury.And it can improve the childrens parents′satisfaction effectivelyit is worth to applying.
