Abstract:Objective To discuss the app1ication va1ue of 1ow-dose spira1 CT in hea1th physica1 examination. Methods 3356 subjects receiving hea1th physica1 examination in our hospita1 from January to December 2015 were random1y divided into the 1ow-dose group (n=1678) and the standard-dose group (n=1678).The detection rate of disease, radiation dose, and image qua1ity between two groups was compared respective1y. Results 479 cases of disease were detected in the standard-dose group and the detection rate was 28.54%.478 cases of disease were detected in the 1ow-dose group and the detection rate was 28.49%,and there was no statistica1 difference between two groups (P>0.05).The image qua1-ity of both groups cou1d meet the diagnosis requirement and it showed no significant difference of qua1ity score between two groups (P>0.05).The CTDIvo1 and DLP in 1ow-dose group was significant1y 1ower than that in the standard-dose group (P<0.05). Conclusion Low-dose CT can satisfy the requirement of diagnosis and reduce the exposure dose radiation, thus avoid unnecessary harm.
