Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical, pathological and images features of gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST).MethodsFrom March 2012 to December 2015,the complete data of 21 patients with GIST in our hospital were enrolled and the data of them were also analyzed retrospectively.Among them,10 males and 11 females, aged from 35 to 84 years, average age was 58.29 years.ResultsThe main symptoms were abdominal pain and abdominal discomfort(20 cases), gastrointestinal bleeding(6 cases)and abdominal mass(7 cases). The lesions located in the stomach (15 cases)and in the small intestine (6 cases). On the MSCT images, the tumor diameter was less than 5 cm in 17 cases(81%),the tumor border was clear in 18 cases(86%),the tumor border was not complete and were surrounded by the tissue infiltration in 3 cases(14%),the tumors were accompanied by vascular passage in 2 cases(9.5%).Immunohistochemical features:CD117 were positive in all the cases, the positive rate of CD34 was 81% (17/21)and the positive rate of DOG1 was 86%(18/21).ConclusionThe clinical manifestation of GIST is lack of specificity,MSCT imaging with certain characteristics features, and the high expression of DOG1,CD117 and CD34 is the important basis for diagnosis.
