Abstract：Objective To explore nursing effect of an elderly lumbar infection treated by vacuum sealing drainage combined with skin flap transfer.M ethods A patients suffering from various chronic diseases among the elderly body bedsore，the waist back decubitus ulcers and infection，was cleared multiple trauma，and given VSD negative pressure drainage after flap transfer operation.Before and after surgery，the patientwas given effective psychological nursing，preoperative correctmalnutrition and postoperative attention to nutritional support，various pipeline nursing，posture nursing and observation of skin flap and complications prevention，guiding of the follow-up.Results After treatment and nursing，postoperative flap blood supply and blood supply were normal.There were no pale，purple，blood stasis or necrosis.The stitches did not occur after ulcer，wound completely healed after dressing change in 27 d.After operation，the patientwas followed up for 18 months，and the patient was normal during the follow-up.Conclusion The effective，systemic，highquality care plays a key role in flap transfer therapy with a variety of chronic diseases aged bedsore，reflecting the whole course nursingwork importance.
