Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of fast track surgery in perioperative nursing care of patientswith lumbar operation.Methods 58 patients underwent lumbar posterior decompression and internal fixation from September 2015 to December 2015 in Fujian Provincial Hospital were included，and were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group.The control group was used the traditional lumbar perioperative nursing，the experimental group was applied FTS for perioperationg nursing of lumbar spine surgery.Pain，time of getting out of the bed，complications，activities of daily living（ADL）score，hospitalization time and clinical efficacy were applied to compared between two groups. Results Patients in the experimental group after operation for pillows time，eating time，off bed activity time，hospitalization time were better than that of control group（P＜0.05）.Pain was statistically different between two groups in the first day and third day after operation（P＜0.05）.Urinary tract infection and pulmonary infection were statistically different between two groups （P＜0.01）.The lower extremity venous thrombosiswere statistically different between two groups （P＜0.05）.ADL score was statistically different between two groups in the first day and third day after operation（P＜0.05）. Conclusion Fast track surgery applied in perioperation nursing for lumbar surgery patients can significantly relieve postoperative early pain，shortening hospitalization time，reduce complications after lumbar surgery，which is worthy of promotion.
