Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical application value of CTA vascular imaging scanning technology in the diagnosing of cerebral aneurysms.Methods 200 cases of subarachnoid hemorrhage caused suspected cerebral aneurysm in our hospital from January 2015 to June 2016 were selected and conducted CTA examination.Image post-processing methodsincludedmaximum intensityprojection(MIP),volume rendering(VR),curved reformat(CR)andmulti-planar reformats (MPR),and arterial aneurysm clipping surgery was regarded as diagnostic criterion for aneurysm.Results 200 cases of paitients with CTA examination showed 195 aneuruysms,190 aneurysms were confirmed by aneurysm clipping operation,4 cases of false negative,1 case of false-positive.DSA examination showed 189 cases of aneuruysm,5 cases of false negative,1 case of false-positive.The sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,negative predictive value and accuracy of CTA in cerebral aneurysms diagnosis was 97.4%,83.3%,99.5%,55.6%,and 97.5%respectively.The sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,negative predictive value and accuracy of the control group of DSA in cerebral aneurysms diagnosiswas 96.9%,83.3%,99.5%,50.0%,and 97.5%respectively.Conclusion Head and neck CTA examination in the diagnosis of cerebral aneurysms is fast,safe,non-invasive,effective and so on,which can be used as the first choice for clinical screening of cerebral aneurysms.
