Abstract:Objective To study the advantages and disadvantages of CT and MRI in patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI)in order to provide reference for early clinical diagnosis. Methods A total of 64 ACI patients treated in our hospital from September 2015 to October 2016 were selected as the research objects.According to different examining methods, they were evenly divided into CT group and MRI group,32 cases in each group.CT and MRI were performed in the corresponding groups. The definite diagnosis rate and the conditions of detected lesion were analyzed and compared in two groups. Results In the CT group, there were 21 cases detected with infarcted lesions, and the definite diagnosis rate was 65.63%;in the MRI group, the number of infarcted lesions detected was 31 cases accounting for 96.88%in the definite diagnosis rate. The brain stem infarction was not found in the CT group, but found in the CT group, which was displayed a statistical difference between two groups(P<0.05).The mean area of the infarcted lesion detected in the MRI group was significantly larger than that in the CT group, which was displayed a statistical difference(P<0.05). Conclusion For ACI patients,MRI examination has a higher accuracy compared with CT and can clearly display the size and shape of the lesion, which is more beneficial to the definite diagnosis at an early stage and is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
