Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of improved minimally invasive incision of open reduction and internal fixation with steel plate for calcaneal fracture. Methods 84 patients with calcaneal fracture admitted into our hospital from January 2015 to January 2016 were randomly divided into two groups, and there were 42 cases in each group. Two groups were given open reduction and internal fixation, control group was given L-shaped lateral incision and observation group was given improved minimally invasive incision. The perioperative indexes, imaging results, recovery of ankle joint, pain degree and incidence of complication between two groups were compared. Results The imaging results of two groups were similar, there was no statistical difference(P>0.05).The perioperative indexes, recovery of ankle joint, improvement of pain degree in observation group were significantly better than those in control group(P<0.05).The incidence rate of complication in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Improved minimally invasive incision of open reduction and internal fixation with steel plate treating calcaneal fracture has good efficacy, short surgery time, light trauma and less complications, which has application value.
