Influence study of minimally invasive locking plate internal fixation on improvement of shoulder joint function in patients with proximal humerus fractures

Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of minimally invasive locking plate fixation on improvement of the function of shoulder joint in patients with proximal humerus fractures.Methods 60 cases of proximal humerus fractures received in our hospital from January 2014 to June 2017 were selected as the study subjects,and all patients were divided into the control group and the observation group according to different treatment methods.In the control group,the incisional reduction of the lateral incision combined with the minimally invasive conventional locking plate was used,the observation group was treated with the small incision closure and the minimally invasive locking plate.The scores of Neer shoulder joint function,QOL score,shoulder joint function score,the incidence rate of complication and fracture healing time were compared between the two groups.Results The scores of Neer shoulder joint function,QOL score and shoulder function joint score in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,with significant difference(P<0.05).The incidence rate of complication in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group,with significant difference (P<0.05).The fracture healing time of the observation group was significantly shorter than that of the control group,with significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion The minimally invasive locking plate fixation can improve the function of shoulder joint in patients with proximal humerus fractures,which is worthy of further study.
