Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of microneedle acupuncture on improving swallowing dysfunction in patients with pseudobulbar palsy after stroke. Methods A total of 60 patients with pseudobulbar palsy after stroke treated in Jingdezhen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2018 to October 2020 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into control group and experimental group by random number table method, with 30 cases in each group.Patients in control group were treated with basic treatment, and patients in experimental group were treated with basic treatment combined with microneedle acupuncture. The clinical efficacy and swallowing function of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in modified Mann assessment swallowing ability(MMASA)score between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,MMASA scores of the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,MMASA score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the clinical treatment of patients with pseudobulbar palsy after stroke, the effect of microneedle acupuncture is outstanding, which can significantly improve the swallowing dysfunction of patients, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
