Application effect of holistic nursing in postoperative nursing of patients with oral and maxillofacial tumor operation

Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of holistic nursing in postoperative nursing of patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial tumor surgery.Methods A total of 100 patients with oral and maxillofacial tumor admitted to Affiliated Hospital of Mudanjiang Medical University from April 2018 to February 2021 were selected and divided into two groups by random drawing,50 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,and the experimental group received holistic nursing.Then the quality of life,satisfaction and complication rate of the two groups were observed.Results The satisfaction and quality of life in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,and the total incidence of complications was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Holistic nursing after surgery for oral and maxillofacial tumor patients can effectively improve the satisfaction of patients,improve the quality of life of patients,reduce the incidence of postoperative complications,and ensure the prognosis of patients.
