Abstract:Objective To explore the application of holistic nursing in patients with ulcerative keratitis. Methods A total of 84 patients with ulcerative keratitis admitted to our hospital from June 2015 to June 2017 were selected as the study subjects.According to the sequence before and after admission, the patients were divided into the control group(n=42) and the observation group (n=42).The control group was given routine nursing method, while the observation group was given holistic nursing method.Psychological status, quality of life before and after nursing and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in individual scores and total scores of psychological state and quality of life before nursing (P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences between the two groups in psychological status and quality of life scores before and after nursing (P<0.05).The psychological status score after nursing in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the individual score and total score of quality of life and satisfaction were higher than those of the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05). Conclusion Holistic nursing can alleviate the negative emotions of patients with ulcerative keratitis, promote the degree of satisfaction and the improvement of life quality, and has a high application value.
