Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of early treatment and rehabilitation integrated nursing mode on hand function and quality of life of severely burned hand patients. Methods Eighty patients with severe hand burns admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to January 2019 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, 40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine rehabilitation nursing, the observation group was given early treatment and rehabilitation integrated nursing. Following up for 3 months, the recovery effect of hand function, the percentage of wound skin coverage, wound healing time, scar index(SI), mean total motion of finger joints (TAM) and concise burn health scale (BSHS-A) scores were compared between the two groups. Results After 3 months of nursing, the effective rate of hand function recovery in the observation group was higher than that in the control group; the percentage of wound skin coverage in the observation group was higher than that in the control group 2 weeks after injury, and the healing time of the wound was shorter than that in the control group; the SI and TAM levels in the observation group were better than those in the control group; the BSHS-A scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Early treatment and rehabilitation integrated nursing can promote the recovery of hand function and improve the quality of life in patients with severe hand burns.
