Prevention and control strategies for perioperative management of general surgery department in the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic

Abstract:The current situation in the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic in the country is still severe.It has now been confirmed that novel coronavirus pneumonia has the characteristics of "personto-person transmission".Individuals with asymptomatic infections are also infectious.Meanwhile,there are certain nosocomial infections,which cause a serious threat for surgical staff and hospitalized patients.General surgeons should actively raise their awareness of novel coronavirus pneumonia,closely coordinate the resources of all parties in the hospital,and strive to "dilute" and "categorize" the diagnosis and treatment of patients.Meanwhile,they should grasp the surgical indications under novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic,strengthen management of perioperative patients,and optimize the diagnosis and treatment process under the epidemic,formulate individualized treatment plan and avoid hospital infections in order to win the battle against epidemic prevention and control as soon as possible.
