Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Group B streptococcus(GBS)positive on maternal and infant prognosis of pregnant women with premature rupture of membranes in late pregnancy. Methods A total of 100 pregnant women with premature rupture of membranes in late pregnancy treated in Dongguan Guangji Hospital from January 2018 to March 2020 were selected as the premature rupture of membranes group.A total of 100 normal pregnant women underwent routine pregnancy examination in Dongguan Guangji Hospital during the same period were selected as control group. The positive rate of GBS infection was compared between the two groups, and the delivery and neonatal conditions of pregnant women with GBS negative and positive GBS infection were analyzed. Results The positive rate of GBS infection in premature rupture of membranes group was 19.00%,higher than 5.00% of control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in postpartum bleeding rate between GBS infection negative and GBS infection positive women(P>0.05).The proportions of cesarean section, premature delivery, intrauterine infection, fetal distress and puerperal infection in GBS infection positive group were 36.84%,36.84%,21.05%,26.32% and 36.84%,respectively,which were higher than those in negative GBS infection group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The percentages of neonatal asphyxia, neonatal infection, neonatal pneumonia, neonatal jaundice and chorioamnionitis in positive GBS infection group were 31.58%,26.32%,26.32%,47.37% and 21.05%,respectively,which were higher than 2.47%,4.94%,0.00%,14.81% and 2.47% in GBS infection negative group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The incidence of GBS infection in the pregnant women with premature rupture of membranes in late pregnancy is higher, and GBS infection will increase the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes.
