Objective To investigate the effect of ultrasound guided stellate ganglion pulsed radiofrequency in the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis. Methods A total of 60 patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis admitted to People′s Hospital of Shangrao City in Jiangxi Province from January 2019 to December 2020 were selected as the research objects and divided into ultrasound group and routine group according to random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The ultrasound group received continuous pulsed radiofrequency treatment of stellate ganglion under ultrasound guidance after lidocaine block, and the routine group received lidocaine planetary ganglia block(SGB)treatment. The shoulder joint pain and shoulder joint function were compared between the two groups at different time points. Results At 1,2,3 and 4 weeks after treatment, the shoulder pain scores in the ultrasound group were lower than those in the routine group, and the differences were statistically significantly(P<0.05).At 1,2,3 and 4 weeks after treatment, the shoulder function joint scores in the ultrasound group were higher than those in the routine group, and the differences were statistically significantly(P<0.05).Conclusion Ultrasound-guided stellate ganglion pulsed radiofrequency therapy can effectively relieve the pain of scapulohumeral periarthritis and improve the shoulder joint function, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
