Effect of Dexmedetomidine nasal drops combined with Dyclonine on the quality of resuscitation in children undergoing transthoracic congenital heart surgery under the guidance of esophageal echocardiography

Objective To explore the effect of Dexmedetomidine Nasal Drops combined with Dyclonine on the quality of resuscitation of children undergoing transthoracic congenital heart surgery under the trans esophageal echocardiography (TEE).Methods A total of 50 children who underwent TEE-guided transthoracic small incision atrioventricular septal defect closure surgery admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical College from June 2017 to August 2019 were selected as the research objects and divided into the control group and the observation group according to random allocation method,with 25 cases in each group.In the control group,Dyclonine was evenly applied to the front 1/3 of the cannula,and 0.5 mL of physiological saline was dripped into the nostril.In the observation group,the front 1/3 of the tracheal intubation was evenly coated with Dyclonine and Dexmedetomidine 2 μg/kg nasal drip.The mean arterial pressure (MAP),heart rate (HR),and arterial blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) at the end of the operation(T0),immediately after extubation (T1),and 5 minutes after extubation (T2) were recorded in the two groups of children,and the recovery time and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared.Results The MAP and HR at T0,T1,and T2 of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and SpO2 was higher than that of the control group,The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions among children in the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The restlessness score and recovery time of children in the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine combined with Dyclonine has better quality and higher safety in resuscitation of children with TEE guided transthoracic congenital heart disease than that of single application of Dyclonine,which can be widely promoted in clinic.
