Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of modified anterior iliac-groin incision in the treatment of pelvic and acetabular fractures. Methods A total of 80 cases of pelvic and acetabular fractures admitted to Chaoyang Central Hospital from January 2017 to June 2020 were selected as the research subjects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated by routine anterior ilioinguinal incision, the observation group chose the modified anterior iliac groin incision. The incision exposure time, bleeding volume during operation, incision closure time, and fracture reduction effect,post-treatment Majeed functional score after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group had shorter incision exposure time and incision closure time, and less bleeding volume during operation, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the good rate of fracture reduction between the observation group and the control group (P>0.05).After treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in Majeed functional score between the two groups (P>0.05),but the total score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with the conventional anterior approach, the modified anterior approach to ilioinguinal incision for pelvic and acetabular fractures can achieve similar fracture reduction effect, but can reduce the operation time and bleeding volume during operation, and promote the improvement of postoperative Majeed functional score, which is worthy of application.
