Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of anterior and posterior surgery combined with Rifampin in the treatment of spinal tuberculosis.Methods The clinical data of 60 patients with spinal tuberculosis treated in the Third People′s Hospital of Jiujiang City from January to December 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.They were divided into the combined group(n=32),the surgery group(n=10)and the single medication group(n=18)according to different treatment methods.The single medication group was treated with Rifampin alone,the surgery group was treated with anterior and posterior surgery,and the combined group was treated with anterior and posterior surgery and Rifampin combined treatment.The clinical efficacy,spinal cord nerve function and Cobb angle were compared among the three groups.Results There were significant difference in the total effective rate of treatment in the combined group,the surgery group and the simple medication group (93.75%,60.00%,66.67%)(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the combined group and the surgery group (P＞0.008).There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the surgery group and the single medication group(P＞0.008).Postoperative Frankel classification of the combined group were better than those of the surgery group and the simple medication group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The Cobb angle of the combined group([10.85±2.16]°)were lower than those of the surgery group ([13.97±2.64]°)and the simple medication group ([15.12±1.89]°),and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Anterior and posterior surgery combined with Rifampin in the treatment of spinal tuberculosis can correct kyphosis,restore spinal cord nerve function,and promote the healing of tuberculosis lesions,which can be promoted in clinical practice as an optimal treatment for spinal tuberculosis.
