Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of self-made glove restraint band in the recovery room of anesthesia after general anesthesia in children.Methods To design and make a safe,effective and easy to use self-made glove restraint band for the restraint and fixation of children in the recovery period after general anesthesia.A total of 60 cases of children with agitation who received treatment in the Anesthesia Room of Pingxiang People′s Hospital from May 2019 to July 2020 were selected as the research objects.According to the drawing method,they were divided into the experimental group(30 cases)and the control group(30 cases).The experimental group was treated with glove restraint band,while the conventional group was treated with traditional restraint band.The effectiveness of constraints,the incidence of complications with constraints and family satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The total incidence of complications in the experimental group was lower than that in the conventional group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The comfort degree and the degree of family satisfaction of children in the experimental group were better than those in the conventional group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The visual analogue scale(VAS)score of the experimental group was(3.2±0.3)points,which was lower than that of the control group([5.8±0.6]points),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The effect of self-made glove restraint band in clinical application is obviously better than that of traditional restraint band,which increases the sense of security and comfort of children,and it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
