Abstract:Objective To study the clinical application value of total laparoscopic thyroid tumor resection through areola incision. Methods From January 2018 to December 2020,102 patients with thyroid tumors admitted to the three general wards of the People′s Hospital of Yichun City,Jiangxi Province were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by random number table method, with 51 cases in each group.Patients in the control group underwent open thyroidectomy, and patients in the observation group underwent full laparoscopic thyroid tumor resection through the areola incision. The basic conditions of the operation, the total incidence of complications, and the cosmetic effect of 7 days after the operation were compared between the two groups. Results The incision length of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, the operation time was longer than that of the control group, the blood loss during operation was less than that of the control group, the postoperative drainage volume was much than that of the control group, and the hospital stay was shorter than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The cosmetic effect score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group on the 7 days after operation, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with open thyroidectomy, total laparoscopic resection of thyroid tumor through areola incision can reduce the occurrence of complications and improve the cosmetic effect.
