Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of nasal high flow oxygen therapy in acute attack of bronchial asthma. Methods Fifty patients with acute attack of bronchial asthma who were admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical College from August 2019 to November 2020 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the control group (25 patients) and the observation group (25 patients) according to the random number table method. The control group was given drug therapy, and observation group was given nasal high flow oxygen therapy on the basis of control group. The treatment effect and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. The pulmonary function indexes before treatment and 1 week after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group (96.00%) was higher than that of the control group (64.00%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The forced expiratory volume in 1 second(FEV1), peak expiratory flow (PEF) and FEV1/forced vital capacity (FVC) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group at 1 week of treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of complications between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion For patients with acute attack of bronchial asthma, nasal high flow oxygen therapy has good effect, fewer complications, can significantly improve lung function, and has outstanding application value.
