Abstract：Objective To explore the application value of colonoscopy reversal in improving the detection rate of right hemicolon adenoma and polyp.Methods A total of 100 patients who received the examination of colonoscopy and were suitable for research in Department of Gastroenterology,Central Hospital of Xinyu Iron and Steel Co.,Ltd.of Jiangxi Province from September 2018 to September 2020 were selected as the research objects.All patients were followed by direct vision and retrospection method and colonoscopy reversal technique to observe the right hemicolon.The detection rates of right hemicolon adenoma,polyp and adenoma with different diameters were compared between the two methods.Results The detection rates of right hemicolon adenoma and polyp by colonoscopy reversal were higher than those of direct vision and retrospection method,and the detection rate of adenoma with diameter<5 mm was higher than that of direct vision and retrospection method,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of reverse colonoscopy in detecting adenoma and polyp of right colon were higher than those of direct vision method,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Colonoscopy reversal technique can effectively improve the detection rate of right hemicolon adenoma and polyp in the examination of colonoscopy,which has certain guiding significance for the prevention and treatment of colon cancer in the future.
