Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of evidence-based nursing intervention based on the concept of enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)in patients undergoing posterior fossa tumor surgery. Methods A total of 104 posterior fossa tumor patients who were admitted to Jiangmen Central Hospital in Guangdong Province from March 2019 to March 2020 were selected. They were divided into two groups according to random number table method,52 cases in each group. In the control group, routine aspiration risk management was used, and in the observation group, evidencebased nursing intervention based on the concept of ERAS was adopted. The improvement of swallowing function, the score of food intake ability, the time of gastric tube removal, and the incidence of aspiration were compared between the two groups. Results The total improvement rate of swallowing in the observation group was 96.15%,higher than that of the control group accounting for 82.69%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the food intake ability of the two groups on the first day after surgery(P>0.05).In the observation group, the food intake ability score on the 7th day after surgery was(5.49±0.87)points,which was higher than the 1st day after the operation for(3.95±1.15)points.In the control group, the food intake ability score on the 7th day after surgery was(4.73±1.04)points,higher than the 1st day after surgery for(3.52±1.08)points,with statistical differences(P<0.05).On the 7th day after surgery, the food intake ability score of the observation group was(5.49±0.87)points,higher than that of the control group of(4.73±1.04)points,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The removal time of gastric tube in the observation group was(5.82±1.46)d,shorter than that of the control group of(6.92±1.63)d,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of aspiration in the observation group was 1.92%,lower than that of the control group accounting for 15.38%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Based on the ERAS concept,evidence-based nursing intervention can improve the swallowing function and food intake ability of patients with posterior fossa tumor surgery, reduce the incidence of aspiration, and speed up the recovery of patients after surgery.
