Abstract:Oxaliplatin is a new platinum derivative, which belongs to the third generation of platinum based broadspectrum antineoplastic drugs.Oxaliplatin has shown a determined curative effectin gastrointestinal cancer as adjuvant chemotherapy or first-line chemotherapy after metastasis. However, due to the toxicity of Oxaliplatin and the long use cycle, adverse reactions occur frequently in patients during the treatment process, and adverse consequences will be caused if no active measures are taken. The incidence of neurotoxicity was higher among all Oxaliplatin adverse reactions. The objective of this paper is to learn the influencing factors of neurotoxicity induced by Oxaliplatin through 3 clinical cases, and to provide suggestions to reduce the incidence rate of neurotoxicity. This case analysis explains that it is particularly important to carry out pharmaceutical care in antineoplastic drug therapies to prevent possible adverse drug reactions.
