Abstract:Objective To discuss the application effect of periodontitis patients by health education. Methods A total of 562 cases periodontitis patients in our hospital from May 2018 to May 2019 were selected retrospective analysis.They were divided into control group 262 cases and detection group 300 cases by implementing health education or not. The oral health self-efficacy score, oral health life quality score, oral health behavior score of two group patients before and after intervention were compared. Results The regular dental visits, brush teeth properly, balanced diet score, oral physiological function, pain sensation, mental function and behavioral effects, oral health behavior score of two group patients before intervention the difference were no statistical significance (P>0.05). After intervention, regular dental visits, brush teeth properly, balanced diet score, oral health behavior score of patients in the two group were higher than before intervention, oral physiological function, pain sensation, mental function and behavioral effect were lower than before intervention, regular dental visits, brush teeth properly, balanced diet score, oral health behavior score of detection group patients were higher than those of the control group, oral physiological function, pain sensation,mental function and behavioral effect were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of periodontitis patients by health education,which could increase oral health self-efficacy and oral health behavior, improve oral health life quality, it is worth to used.
