Abstract:The standardized training of residents is a transitional stage for medical students from school to clinic, and it is an important stage to improve the thinking and judgment ability of clinicians.The department of pediatric neurology is very professional, involving many disciplines, the relevant theoretical knowledge is complex and abstract, and the progress of clinical diagnosis and treatment is updated rapidly, standardized training doctors are prone to "nervous fear", resulting in fear of difficulties and a decline in interest of learning.The quality of training is difficult to guarantee.As the only standardized training and demonstration base for paediatric residents in China, the Children′s Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University has been responsible for the training of pediatric neurologists at all levels for many years, and has accumulated abundant teaching experience.This paper summarizes the experience of standardized training of residents in the department of neurology in our hospital, introduces the relevant teaching ideas and teaching methods in detail, to provide experience for improving the quality of standardized training of residents in the department of neurology in children.
