Abstract:Objective To create the predictive nursing procedure in the first aid of emergency patients with multiple fracture ribs and explore its effect in improving the quality of first aid. Methods A total of 60 patients of multiple fractured ribs who were treated in our hospital from September 2017 to December 2019 were selected and divided into control group and experimental group according to the random number table method, 30 cases in each group.Patients of the control group were given routine nursing, while those in the experimental group were given predictive nursing procedure. The effective salvage time, hospital stays, visual analogue scale (VAS) scores after treating, total nursing satisfaction and the total complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The salvage time and hospital stays of the experimental group were shorten than those of the control group, the VAS score of the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, and the nursing total satisfaction of the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the total complication rate of the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Predictive nursing procedure in the first aid of emergency patients with multiple fractured ribs can shorten the effective salvage time and hospital stays, relieve pain and improve the nursing satisfaction.
