Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of emergency treatment channels in the rescue of acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Methods A total of 130 patients with acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding who were admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Jingdezhen from January 2018 to November 2020 were selected as the study subjects. According to the order of admission, they were divided into a control group (n=65) and a trial group (n=65). The control group was given conventional methods for rescue, and the experimental group was given emergency treatment channels for rescue. The recurrence bleeding rate, operation rate, disease mortality rate, hemostasis time, length of hospital stya, blood transfusion volume and hospitalization expenses were compared between the two groups of patients after treatment. Results After treatment, the recurrence bleeding rate, operation rate and disease mortality rate in the trial group were lower than those in the control group, the hemostasis time and length of hospital stay in the trial group were shorter than those in the control group, the amount of blood transfusion and hospitalization expenses of patients in the trial group were less than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The emergency treatment channels can control the development of diseases for the patients with acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding, shorten the treatment time, reduce the economic burden of patients, and provide protection for life safety.
