Abstract:Objective To explore the psychological distress and related factors of patients with primary liver cancer. Methods The clinical data of 450 patients with primary liver cancer admitted to our hospital from October 2018 to May 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were screened by psychological distress screening tool (DMSM) questionnaire. A total of 150 cases with the degree of pain ≥4 points were in the observation group, and 300 cases with the degree of pain less than 4 points were the control group. The related data of the two groups were compared, and the influencing factors that may cause psychological pain were recorded and analyzed. Results The results of single factor analysis indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the two groups in age, education level, sleep disorders, disease understanding, medical burden, and adverse emotions (P<0.05); the results of multifactor analysis indicated that the age was ≥40 years old (β= 0.693, OR=2.000, 95%CI=1.330-3.008), high school education and below (β=1.012, OR=2.750, 95%CI=1.795-4.214), had sleep disturbance (β=1.323, OR=3.755, 95%CI=2.416-5.837) ,low level of disease understanding (β=1.986, OR= 7.286, 95%CI=4.053-13.097), medical burden (β=0.700, OR=2.015,95%CI=1.343-3.022), had bad emotions (β= 1.880, OR=3.279, 95%CI= 2.129-5.052) were the risk factors for the psychological pain of patients with primary liver cancer (P<0.05). Conclusion In view of the risk factors that cause the suffering of patients with primary liver cancer, we should increase the degree of attention and take effective measures to reduce the degree of pain in patients.
