Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of comprehensive nursing on diabetic cataract patients after phacoemulsification. Methods From February 2017 to September 2019,60 patientswith diabetic cataractwere selected as the study subjects. They were divided into control group(n=30)and observation group(n=30)according to the drawing of lots. The visual acuity, blood glucose level, hospitalization time, incidence of corneal edema, total complications and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing, the visual acuity of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the visual acuity of the observation group after nursing was higher than that before nursing, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The fasting blood glucose and postmeal 2h blood glucose level in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differenceswere statistically significant(P<0.05),and the fasting blood glucose and postmeal 2h blood glucose levels in the observation group were lower than those before nursing, and the differenceswere statistically significant(P<0.05).The hospitalization time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of corneal edema and total incidence of complications in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differenceswere statistically significant(P<0.05).The overall satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive nursing in the treatment of diabetic cataract is beneficial to improve its curative effect, improve the visual acuity and blood glucose level of the patients, reduce the occurrence of corneal edema and complications after operation, shorten the hospitalization time and improve the nursing satisfaction, which isworth popularizing and using in clinic.
