Abstract:Objective To investigate the application of comprehensive nursing intervention in colostomy fistula after low rectal cancer.Methods The clinical data of 86 cases of colostomy after operation for low rectal cancer treated in our hospital from February 2017 to February 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.They were divided into group A (n=43) and group B (n=43) according to difference the nursing methods.Group A used conventional nursing methods,group B used comprehensive nursing intervention.The quality of life, complications and self-nursing ability were compared between the two groups.Results The quality of life score([33.07±4.92]points)was lower in group A than in group B([44.29±4.51]points),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence of complications in group B was 4.65%, which was lower than 18.60 % in group A, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Patients in group B scored were higher than group A in self-care management such as self-concept, self-care responsibility, self-care knowledge, and self-care skills, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive nursing intervention for patients with postoperative colostomy of low rectal cancer can reduce the incidence of various complications and improve the patients′ self-management ability and quality of life, which is worthy of promotion and application.
