Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Ketorolac Tromethamine combined with Dexmedetomidine in elderly patients undergoing percutaneous kyphoplasty. Methods A total of 50 cases elderly patients with percutaneous kyphoplasty from January 2016 to December 2017 treated in our hospital were selected as the subjects, and divided into observation group (24 cases) and control group (26 cases) by random number table method. Patients in the observation group were given Ketorolac Tromethamine 30 mg after entering the operating room and then continuous injection of Dexmedetomidine at a rate of 0.5 μg/(kg·h) till the end of the surgery, while patients in the control group were given Sufentanil 0.15 μg/kg and then continuous injection of the same volume of physiological saline. The scores of anesthesia and the Ramsay sedation scores in patients were performed, and the incidence rate of adverse reactions were observed. Results At T1、T2 and T3, values of the mean arterial pressure (MAP) and heart rate (HR) in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistical significance (P<0.05). The satisfaction rate of anesthesia and sedation effect in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistical significance (P<0.05). The frequency of additional topical anesthetics intraoperation in the observation group was less than that in the control group, the difference was statistical significance (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions showed no statistically significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion The analgesic and sedative effect of Ketorolac Tromethamine combined with Dexmedetomidine in elderly patients undergoing percutaneous kyphoplasty is definite, without obvious complication.
