Abstract:Objective To explore effect of physique art therapy on rehabilitation of patients with mental illness.Methods A total of 80 mental patients who were admitted to our hospital from March 2017 to March 2018 were selected as the research subjects,and were divided into research group and control group according to random number table method,40 patients in each group.Both groups were treated by routine therapy,the research group was given routine therapy and physique art therapy for 12 weeks.The positive and negative symptoms scale (PANSS),psychiatric rehabilitation scale (IPROS)and general self-efficacy scale (GSES)was used to evaluate patients before and after treatment.Results The scores of PANSS,PANSS-N,PANSS-G,IPROS of the research group were significantly lower than those of the control group and before treatment,and the scores of GSES of the research group were significantly higher than those of the control group and before treatment,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The scores of PANSS,PANSS-N,PANSS-G,occupational therapy,attention to hygiene,care and interest in IPROS of the control group were significantly lower than those before treatment,the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion Physique art therapy can improve the living ability and self-efficacy of mental patients,improve mental symptoms.It has positive effect on the patients′recoverg and return to society,worthy of promotion and applications.
