Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the status of self-efficacy level in periodontitis patients and to analyze the influencing factors.M ethodsBy general information questionnaire and self-efficacy scale with specific task in periodontitis patients in Chinese version,115 patients suffering from chronic periodontitis visited department of stomatology,amajor grade 3A hospital in Nanchang City from August 2015 to August 2016 were investigated.ResultsThe total score of self-efficacy in patients with periodontitis was (50.00±7.53)points.The influencing factors included educational level,knowledge about the disease,occupation,and family per capita income.ConclusionMany a factors can influence on self-efficacy management levels in patients with chronic periodontitis.Among them,awareness of the disease is the most important one.Hence,in the following clinical diagnosis and treatment,health education aiming at improving the disease′s awareness aswell as self-managementon disease should be paid attention.
