Application effect of individualized development support assessment procedures and nursing in children with premature jaundice

Abstract:Objective To observe the value of individualized development support assessment procedures and nursing(NIDCAP) in preterm infants with jaundice.Methods A total of 60 preterm infants with jaundice treated in our hospital from July 2017 to July 2018 were selected and divided into observation group and control group automatic generation of random numbers by computer programming,30 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were given routine nursing,while those in the observation group were additionally given NIDCAP.The bilirubin value,jaundice index,jaundice persistence and regression days,gastrointestinal function development,and child care satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The 7 d bilirubin value and the jaundice index were higher than those on the 1st day of birth in both groups,the 7 d bilirubin value and jaundice index of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,the duration and regression time of jaundice,the establishment of sucking and swallowing function,and the days to sufficient feeding and the improvement time of bloating were shorter in the observation group than those in the control group,and the total satisfaction was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion For premature infants with jaundice,the application of NIDCAP can effectively control the development of jaundice,accelerate the improvement of symptoms,and promote the development of gastrointestinal function and improve the satisfaction of parents.
