Abstract:Objective To evaluate the clinical application effect of arterial embolization in gynecological refractory diseases. Methods The clinical data of 42 patients with gynecological refractory benign and malignant tumors admitted to our hospital from January 2013 to October 2018 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into study group(21 cases)and control group(21 cases).Patients in the study group were treated with arterial embolization, and patients in the control group were treated with conventional methods. The menstrual volume, dysmenorrhea, uterine volume,CA125 level, hemostasis time and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results Patients in the study group were superior to those in the control group in terms of decreased menstrual volume, uterine volume reduction, decreased dysmenorrhea score, decreased CA125 level and hemostasis time, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The total incidence rate of complications in the study group was 19.0%,which was significantly lower than that in the control group (66.7%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The arterial embolization provides a safe and effective treatment option for gynecologic refractory benign and malignant diseases.
