Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of the method of cervical fascial space separation in thyroid cancer surgery. Methods From January 2010 to December 2017,40 patients with thyroid cancer were selected as control group, and 40 patients with thyroid carcinoma from January 2018 to January 2019 were selected as observation group. The control group received the traditional surgical treatment, and the observation group used a surgical treatment plan for the separation of the cervical fascia gap.The therapeutic effects after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The operative time of the patients in the observation group was longer than that in the control group, the amount of intraoperative bleeding was less than that in the control group, and the number of dissected lymph nodes was more than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of superior laryngeal nerve injury and recurrent laryngeal nerve injury and the recurrence rate in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The method of cervical fascial space separation as a new surgical method for thyroid cancer not only improves the treatment effect of surgery, but also reduces the incidence of postoperative complications and recurrence rate, and has a good clinical application value.
