Abstract：Proper use and maintenance of vascular access is a core care content that nurses need to master correctly.It is necessary to provide guidelines for nursing care of vascular access in hemodialysis (HD) patients to nurses in the hospital.Currently, central venous catheters and autologous arteriovenous fistulas are commonly used in uremic patients undergoing maintenance HD.The guidelines can be based on the classification of vascular access in HD patients.One is the guidelines for dressing and maintenance of veins in the HD center, the other is guidelines for self-care and health education for central venous indwelling catheters, and the third is arteriovenous fistula (AVF) guidelines for care.Nursing guidelines can improve the efficiency of clinical nursing work, provide a strong guarantee for treatment, effectively prevent the occurrence of complications, improve the quality of life of patients, and ultimately achieve the purpose of prolonging the survival time of patients.
