Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of vascular access nursing in hemodialysis (HD) patients. Methods Altogetner 60 cases of HD patients admitted to our hospital from June 2016 to June 2018 were selected for the study. According to the random number table method, they were divided into observation group and control group. The patients in the control group received routine nursing measures, including informing the patients and their family members of the relevant matters needing attention in HD treatment, correcting the patients′ bad daily life style, arranging the patients′work, rest and diet reasonably etc. The patients in the observation group received nursing procedure of vascular access,including protection of vascular access,puncture nursing and nursing of internal fistula of vascular access.The total incidence of complications and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 6.66%, which was lower than that in the control group (23.33%) (P<0.05);the satisfaction rate in the observation group was 93.33%, which was higher than that in the control group (70.00%) (P<0.05). Conclusion For HD patients, the use of vascular access nursing can effectively reduce the incidence of complications, and is conducive to improving patient satisfaction with nursing, which is worthy of further clinical application.
