Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of nursing safety management on the quality of care in hemodialysis room. Methods A total of 86 hemodialysis patients admitted to our hospital from May 2018 to May 2019 were selected for the study, and divided into the reference group (n=43) and the research group (n=43) according to the random number table method with 8 corresponding nursing staff in each group.Routine nursing management and routine rursing+nursing safety management were adopted respectively. The total incidence of adverse events, total nursing satisfaction, awareness of safety knowledge, quality of nursing, operating skills and safety awareness of nursing staff were compared between the two groups. Results The total incidence of adverse events in the study group was 4.65%, lower than that in the control group (23.26%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total nursing satisfaction of patients in the study group was 95.35%, higher than that of the reference group (79.07%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The scores of safety knowledge awareness ([92.13±3.45]points) and nursing quality ([88.36±4.27]points)in the study group were higher than those in the control group ([78.24±3.28]and [73.54±5.17]points), with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).The scores of operating skill level ([93.46±4.21]points) and safety consciousness([94.52±3.17]points) of nursing staff in the study group were higher than those in the control group ([83.14±5.12]and[85.14±3.25]points), with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion Adopting nursing safety management can effectively improve the quality of care in the hemodialysis room, reduce the occurrence of adverse events in hemodialysis patients, and improve their nursing satisfaction.
